歲末。年終。

想回到熟悉的家鄉,還是前往未知的地方?
無論目的地是哪,你所需要的就是一趟旅行
藉由短暫的離開,確認心裡的渴望。

村上春樹在旅居歐洲的三年,完成了生涯最重要的小說《挪威的森林》。安藤忠雄在旅行中自學建築,從貨車司機轉變成傳奇建築師。Akinori也在旅法期間向法國人學習到:家庭和朋友的關係,勝過工作成績。 這份對於歡樂與滿足的純粹定義,進而成為他創作的中心思想。

此後,Akinori便創作了許多小小的微笑人,他們是住在圖畫世界「快樂城」裡的居民。這次專為遊戲橘子打造的「微笑橘」,就是快樂城的親善大使,帶領你到心所嚮往的快樂城休息、充電!無論是否有家人、愛人作陪,就算只有獨自一人,都請帶著「好好對待自己」的心情出發。

Akinori Oishi
大石曉規,日本平面設計師,Oishi是「大石」的日文發音,也剛好是日文好吃的意思。1972年生於大阪。曾於京都市立藝術大學主修藝術、在IAMAS主修媒體設計。2001年獲法國MILIA國際多媒體展設計獎,之後三年在法國Team Chman工作室擔任設計師。在歐洲除了藝術工作,也任教於瑞士ECAL洛桑藝術設計大學。2004年回日本至今為獨立藝術家,且在京都造形藝術大學及多摩美術大學授課。

身為大阪人的Akinori,不免俗的從電視愛上關西式幽默,在法國工作期間,進而喜歡法國導演Tati的喜劇電影。拜科技發達所賜,畫筆創作下的歡樂得以用各種形式──遊戲、動畫、數位互動、建築,散播到全世界。

2005年出版為記錄瑞士國會的教育動畫片DVD「Mais im Bundeshuus」
2006年柏林、2008年紐約「Pictoplasma Conference角色藝術展」

Haruki Murakami traveled and lived in Europe for three years, and had completed the most influential work, “Norwegian Wood”. Tadao Ando is a self-taught architect by traveling throughout many places, from truck driver into a legendary architect. Akinori traveled to France and discovered one true find: Nothing's more important than a strong family and friends bonding, and this belief became his main concept. These joy and satisfaction fulfill his heart and turn into the main inspiration of his design.

Since then, Akinori’s character designs are always smiling and living in Aki’s graphic pattern “City of Joy”.
This time, Akinori creates a new smiling character with Gamania Digital Entertainment and take you to Aki’s “City of Joy”.
Whether with friends, family, or even yourself, remember to take time, relax and discover your own city of joy.

Akinori Oishi
Akinori Oishi, Graphic Artist, born in Osaka Japan 1972. Studied fine arts at Kyoto City University of Art, and media-designs at IAMAS (Internatinal Academy of Media Arts and Sci- ences). Since winning the award of MILIA (International Multi-media Fair) in France 2001, working at the French creative design studio Team Chman (2001 - 2004). Be- sides art activities in Europe, teaching at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art Lausanne / University of Art and Design Lausanne) in Switzerland. Back to Japan in 2004, now independent artist, and also the lecturer of Kyoto University of Art and Design, and part-time lecturer in Tama University in Tokyo.

2001- The interactive art game “OPNIYAMA” at the opening show of the Contemporary Art Museum Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
2005- The animation DVD for the Swiss documentary film ,“Mais im Bundeshuus” 2006&2008- The world character arts festival, “Pictoplasma Con- ference” in Berlin and New York

橘子講堂:Let's LOMO




橘子講堂這一次邀請了知名LOMO攝影師DINGDONG〈李建廷〉、Lomography 台灣店經理 Irene Yeh〈葉紫涵〉,一起示範最自由奔放的LOMO樂趣。


DINGDONG從他最初擁有的LOMO四格機說起,娓娓道來他是如何踏上LOMO這條不歸路:用傻瓜相機勇敢實驗各種玩法、真誠紀錄生活。不但自己的婚紗用LOMO DIY、甚至面對可能失去愛妻的死亡恐懼,也都誠實地濃縮在膠卷裡〈已出版攝影《十年》〉,照片讓人到感受美好且澎湃的生命能量!



Irene則分享了繼LOMO十大金誡之後,Lomography推出的嶄新革命宣言:The Ten Prophecies of the Analogue Future! Lomography的十大預言!鼓勵橘子人練習離數位世界遠一點,用類比找回生活的溫度、發掘驚喜!

0°-360°的視角︰橘子LOMO攝影展


LOMO相機於1982年被意外發現後,自此展開了一段不可思議的旅程。以簡單的構造與操作、不可預期的相片效果,以及可愛如玩具般的外型,LOMO相機成功在近幾年間創造出一群固定的使用者,甚至塑造出一種特殊的攝影風格,成為一種生活態度與象徵符號。

不同於一般相機的拍攝方式,LOMO始終強調沒有任何的遊戲規則,(儘管有十大金律,但它的意思統統都是要使用者︰「Don’t Think. Just Shoot. 」)對世界充滿好奇、在攝影過程裡盡情玩樂,這些都是LOMO攝影所要傳達的生活風格。而這樣態度恰巧就好像橘子:對任何事情感到新鮮,同時也喜歡以特殊的角度去探索世界、嘗試不一樣的事物。

本次「0°-360°的視角︰橘子LOMO攝影展」,SPACE 17特別邀請到台灣知名LOMO攝影師DINGDONG一同攜手合作,試圖以攝影師的角度對橘子做360°的觀察,並在LOMO相機的「不刻意」紀錄下,形成一種橘子生活風格的藝術創作。

Since the introduction of LOMO in 1982, Lomography has opened up quite an incredible journey. With simple mechanic structure, easy to use, unpredictable outcome and cute toy style outlook, Lomography has successfully built up a loyal fan base. Lomography, moreover, creates a unique photography style and becomes an attitude as well as a symbol.

Unlike traditional photo shooting, “No Rule; No Discipline” is always the philosophy of LOMO (Even LOMO Top Ten Golden Rules require nothing but: “Don’t Think. Just Shoot.”) Full of curiosity to the world and enjoy the process of photography is what Lomography speaks for. And it is so very gamania way: Feel fresh to everything and enjoy exploring the world with alternative angle and try something different!

In “0°-360°: Gamania LOMO Photography Exhibition,” SPACE 17 has specially invited the celebrated LOMO Photographer, DINGDONG Lee for his 360° Lomography observation of gamania. Create the art work of gamania lifestyle with his “accidental” Lomography documentation.

橘子講堂此次邀請的講師是基礎創意總監Mark和Revelator主理人Wade。
生活環繞在紐約、東京、香港、台北的Wade,透過對這四個城市的街頭觀察帶出他對潮流文化與流行脈動的觀點。

關於本展ABOUT

2011年,「宅」與「潮」已從次文化躍身為主流派系,且其孕育的能量與述說的故事,即有可能是下一個時代之聲。一直愛玩的遊戲橘子,有著「宅」屬性的執著與傻勁,但也有著「潮」特質的奔放與奇想,因此DENSITY出現了!

為了讓橘子人了解全新品牌DENSITY,SPACE 17本次特別與創意團隊Phalanx(基礎創意)合作推出「所謂密度︰DENSITY品牌展」,試圖透過Paper Art裝置藝術中的拼裝組合,表現出紙張的靈活度與強大的可能性,同時訴說DENSITY這個品牌的實驗精神與多重視角的獨特觀點。

In 2011, “Otaku” and “Street Fashion” have been leveled up from sub culture to main stream phenomenon. Both of them could be the voice of next generation via their power and stories. Gamania with “Love to Play” as our brand core withholds just the essential “Otaku” and “Street Fashion” attributes – silly persistence as well as unstoppable whimsicality. Therefore, here comes DENSITY!

For all Gamanians to understand the whole new label, DENSITY, we have partnered with the creative team, Phalanx, for the coming SPACE 17 event, “This is DENSITY Exhibition,” this time. Through the paper art installation, one is able to see the powerful flexibility and possibility of paper. Therefore, the experiment spirit and multi-perspectives of DENSITY!

一個以年輕文化為本質的橘子,早已不知道在什麼時候就開始醞釀了DENSITY誕生的氛圍。

2004年,遊戲橘子開始發展遊戲與動畫的自製IP,同時也研究相關潮流公仔玩具,一路累積經驗到2011年,這個以Lifestyle為出發、Crossover為核心的DENSITY,終於決定出擊。

DENSITY沒有太偉大的責任與義務,「只想玩得不一樣,並保留玩樂的本質與熱情。」透過DENSITY或合作對象的眼睛,去發現值得欣賞的事物。保留原創精神、同時注入創意,這就是DENSITY這個平台、品牌所要做的事。

DENSITY認為做自己喜歡且相信的事,當那件事開始受歡迎時,就是潮流!

With youth culture as our ground, the birth of DENSITY has long been perceived in Gamania.

Gamania first started to create self-developed IP of games and animation and survey designer figures in 2004. Along the way till 2011, DENSITY, the whole new label with crossover as its brand core to propose new lifestyle, is finally launched.

DENSITY upholds no neither great responsibility nor obligation. “Have fun differently and still retain the essence and passion of fun!” Through the partners or our eyes, we discover things worth of appreciating. 十七號空間回顧展:還是要說再見

關於 最終回展覽
SPACE 17 [十七號空間],橘子人的藝文創意空間。內容由品牌中心的成員進行主導與策劃,並以「Connect Idea」(連結創意)為主要核心精神,SPACE 17透過展覽與講堂等形式成為橘子人的創意平台:除了提供舞台給橘子人展現創意,同時也引介國際級創意人與設計師在此進行分享。由於平台地點就位在總部17樓的普橘島裡,因此取名為「SPACE 17」。

在2007年1月2日,SPACE 17開始了第一個展覽:「愛現吧!橘人」展(AFB Solo Exhibition for SPACE 17, 2007)。由品牌中心總監阿餅(陳秉良)做為展覽宣傳示範,展出由他一手創作的一系列「AfroBin」九幅作品:包括BruceBin、Micheal JackBin、Lion BING、BlossomBin、BomBin 與Darling I Love You等。

緊接著這一年,SPACE 17著手策劃了一整年度「橘子精神系列」展覽,以「F.A.M.I.L.Y.」作為各月主題,展出了包括:「made in FUN」、「ADVENTURE ur life」、「Open Mind, Open World」、「Think Innovation, Make Revolution」、「Hurrah For Laurels」、「YOUTH之就是長不大」等多項展覽,同年11月1日,SPACE 17也首度跨國邀請創意人到橘子進行創意分享:包括保加利亞籍藝術家Luba Lukova與馬來西亞籍藝術工作者李瑞強等人,

在08-10年期間,SPACE 17陸續加入更多新鮮議題,包含:生活、文化、設計、環保、旅行、創意行銷等不同主題的展覽都能在SPACE 17裡被看到。SPACE 17更進一步以提供國際主題或趨勢議題,激發橘子人的創意想法。

2011年夏天,隨著集團總部的普橘島搬遷,SPACE 17於總部17樓的展覽即將畫下句點,但這並不代表這個屬於橘子人的創意平台在未來將會消失,SPACE 17將以全新的方式、更高的規格在新的地方出現。「Bye Bye 17」宛如SPACE 17像告別青澀的17歲一樣,象徵著SPACE 17將走向更成熟的面貌。

本次「十七號空間回顧展:還是要說再見」將是SPACE 17在17樓的最終回展覽,同時它也是SPACE 17在進入下一個里程碑前所發表的作品集。未來這個創意平台將帶來更多不同型態的內容,更請所有的橘子人一起密切期待。

集團首度全球展覽 各地城市同步看見橘子的驕傲

Passion, Action, Vision
1995年至2011年,遊戲橘子從三十人的小公司演進成一千五百人的大企業。經過無數次的成長,遊戲橘子已逐漸成熟,並以線上遊戲服務平台為基礎,整合媒體、行銷、網路與技術的優勢,成為台灣數位娛樂產業的成功典範之一。「線上遊戲」從被外界定義的「不正經」的工作,透過遊戲橘子在短短幾年內成為影響台灣最重要的產業之一。

遊戲橘子本是由一群愛玩的狂熱份子所共同創造出來的地方。Game (遊戲)+Mania(狂熱),成就了Gamania。走過15年的遊戲橘子,持續秉持著初衷:用力工作、用力玩!因此玩出了跟其他企業不一樣的文化,更在工作與玩樂間產生了獨特的哲學:playwork。

在即將邁入下一個階段的時刻,由集團總部策劃的「playwork:橘子集團15年回顧特展」,以「15年/15人/15故事」做為展覽的中心概念,除了在總部藝文空間SPACE 17與各地的普橘島同步展出之外,更透過自製影片分享、照片募集活動希望串聯所有橘子人,以play/work的觀點一窺橘子在歷史中的改變與成就,並傳達出:橘子裡的一切,全都是由每一個橘子人所努力與玩出來的!

From 1995 to 2011, Gamania has grown from a small company with 30 employees to a great enterprise with 1,500. After countless thriving business opportunities, Gamania has become an established enterprise with the online gaming service platform as basis, integrating its business strengths in media, marketing, internet and technology. It is one of the iconic business successes in the digital entertainment industry in Taiwan. With the influence of Gamania, “online gaming” has transformed the stereotype from the “frivolous” job to become one of the most important industries in Taiwan in a short few years.

Gamania was created by a bunch of gaming maniacs. Adding “Game” to “Mania”, and Gamania was forged. For 15 years, Gamania has lived up to its core philosophy, “work hard and play hard!” It is the unique culture of Gamania apart from others. So we coin our own term to interpret our philosophy, “playwork.”

With the coming moment of next step, Headquarter has curated a special exhibition of “Playwork: 15 Years Retrospection of Gamania Group,” featuring ““15 years/ 15 people / 15 stories” as the core concept. The exhibition will be shown simultaneously in HQ Space 17 as well as in global Gama-Islands. Through shares of documentary videos and photos, we are hoping to connect all Gamanians via the perspective of play/work. To see Gamania’s changes and achievements from the past and to send out the message, “Everything in Gamania is formulated by the endeavor and play of each and every Gamanian!”

「2010 GAMA Xmas」展 Have a good CHRISTMAS

橘子人過聖誕節,SPACE 17當然也不能免俗地得以「聖誕」裝飾氣氛,但要怎麼佈置空間,才能有別於一般聖誕展而顯得與眾不同呢?SPACE 17策展單位這次發揮了創意、利用今年橘子的聖誕年節禮物--聖誕壁貼,以簡單的三角幾何圖形,營造出具空間感、又能傳達聖誕溫暖的展覽。同時,走近一看,還有特別的驚喜呢!
