所謂密度:DENSITY品牌展


關於本展ABOUT

2011年,「宅」與「潮」已從次文化躍身為主流派系,且其孕育的能量與述說的故事,即有可能是下一個時代之聲。一直愛玩的遊戲橘子,有著「宅」屬性的執著與傻勁,但也有著「潮」特質的奔放與奇想,因此DENSITY出現了!

為了讓橘子人了解全新品牌DENSITY,SPACE 17本次特別與創意團隊Phalanx(基礎創意)合作推出「所謂密度︰DENSITY品牌展」,試圖透過Paper Art裝置藝術中的拼裝組合,表現出紙張的靈活度與強大的可能性,同時訴說DENSITY這個品牌的實驗精神與多重視角的獨特觀點。

In 2011, “Otaku” and “Street Fashion” have been leveled up from sub culture to main stream phenomenon. Both of them could be the voice of next generation via their power and stories. Gamania with “Love to Play” as our brand core withholds just the essential “Otaku” and “Street Fashion” attributes – silly persistence as well as unstoppable whimsicality. Therefore, here comes DENSITY!

For all Gamanians to understand the whole new label, DENSITY, we have partnered with the creative team, Phalanx, for the coming SPACE 17 event, “This is DENSITY Exhibition,” this time. Through the paper art installation, one is able to see the powerful flexibility and possibility of paper. Therefore, the experiment spirit and multi-perspectives of DENSITY!

品牌故事BRAND STORY

一個以年輕文化為本質的橘子,早已不知道在什麼時候就開始醞釀了DENSITY誕生的氛圍。

2004年,遊戲橘子開始發展遊戲與動畫的自製IP,同時也研究相關潮流公仔玩具,一路累積經驗到2011年,這個以Lifestyle為出發、Crossover為核心的DENSITY,終於決定出擊。

DENSITY沒有太偉大的責任與義務,「只想玩得不一樣,並保留玩樂的本質與熱情。」透過DENSITY或合作對象的眼睛,去發現值得欣賞的事物。保留原創精神、同時注入創意,這就是DENSITY這個平台、品牌所要做的事。

DENSITY認為做自己喜歡且相信的事,當那件事開始受歡迎時,就是潮流!

With youth culture as our ground, the birth of DENSITY has long been perceived in Gamania.

Gamania first started to create self-developed IP of games and animation and survey designer figures in 2004. Along the way till 2011, DENSITY, the whole new label with crossover as its brand core to propose new lifestyle, is finally launched.

DENSITY upholds no neither great responsibility nor obligation. “Have fun differently and still retain the essence and passion of fun!” Through the partners or our eyes, we discover things worth of appreciating. Keep the spirit of originality and add a little creativity exchange. This is what DENSITY pursues as a platform and label.

DESINTY regards that doing something you truly like and believe, and when other begin to appreciate it; it is the trend then!
